CBG/CBD Extract

100% Natural, Premium Quality CBG/CBD Extract in 3 strengths

We’ve taken the best of nature, combined it with science, and created our new CBG/CBD Extract, the fastest and most effective oral pain relief available.

Available in CBG/CBD Extract 1000mg / 1500mg / 3000mg

Part of the range of cannabinoid products, this extract is made in the UK from the highest-quality hemp plants organically and ethically grown by experienced and licensed farmers on outdoor farms in Switzerland.

Our range of Organic CBD oil products mix full spectrum CBD oil with CBD distillate, (the purest form of CBD), to make the products extra strong, in fact we can claim to have the strongest CBD oil on the market. So why add CBG oil to our CBD extract? Because it makes it even more effective.

What makes CBG oil different to CBD Oil?

CBG or Cannabigerol, like CBD and THC (the compound that causes the ‘high’) is a cannabinoid, so it’s one of many chemicals found in cannabis plants. The difference is, however, that CBG is often referred to as the ‘mother’ of cannabinoids because it’s the precursor from which all other cannabinoids, including CBD and THC, are created.

Both CBD and THC start as CBGA, an acidic form of CBG. In fully developed plants with high concentrations of THC and CBD, there’ll only be very low concentrations of CBG because most of the CBG has been converted to CBD and THC as the plant developed. CBG is therefore derived from young cannabis plants because they contain higher amounts of CBG than fully developed plants, but even so it is only in tiny volumes and hard to isolate.

The harder production difficulties of CBG makes it very scarce and since CBG shares many similarities with CBD, many manufacturers find it easier to produce CBD oil instead.

We do, however, recognise that the way CBG interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system is different from the way CBD does which makes it worth the effort to produce CBG, and combine it with our full spectrum CBD oil for maximum health benefits.

How CBG Works

CBG is processed by the body’s endocannabinoid system which is made up of molecules and receptors responsible for keeping our bodies in an optimal state. In our bodies, CBG imitates endocannabinoids, the natural compounds our body makes.

Our body contains two types of cannabinoid receptors—CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are found in the nervous system and brain, while CB2 receptors are located in the immune system and other areas of the body. CBG works by binding to both receptors where it’s thought to strengthen the function of anandamide, a neurotransmitter that plays a role in enhancing pleasure and motivation, regulating appetite and sleep, and alleviating pain. This interaction process is known as the ‘entourage effect’ where several different compounds work together to achieve an effect that would be impossible for them to achieve on their own, thus imparting maximum benefits to users.

What are the Potential Benefits of our CBG/CBD Extract?

CBG &CBD working together target pain more efficiently and faster than CBD oil on its own, making our CBG/CBD Extract the number one pain relief solution.

The benefits of CBD oil have been well documented and include:

  • Pain relief - Studies have shown that CBD may help reduce chronic pain by affecting endocannabinoid receptor activity, reducing inflammation, and interacting with neurotransmitters. Studies have also shown CBD can be an effective treatment for arthritis and rheumatism, migraines, and other pains in the body

  • Stress - CBD oil has shown promise as a treatment for some mental health disorders, such as anxiety disorders. A couple of drops of CBD oil will ease the symptoms of stress or anxiety and insomnia

  • Skincare - CBD oil is packed full of antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties both of which combat oxidative stress that contributes towards the ageing process. It is also rich in nutrients such as unsaturated fatty acids, B vitamins, minerals and trace elements that help to keep the skin looking and feeling hydrated, preventing the formation of new wrinkles. The anti-inflammatory properties of CBD may be particularly useful for reducing potential triggers of eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis.

  • Alleviation of cancer symptoms - CBD may help reduce some cancer-related symptoms and side effects related to cancer treatment, such as nausea, vomiting, and pain.

  • Circulatory and heart benefits - Some research has linked CBD with several benefits for the heart and circulatory system, including the ability to lower high blood pressure.

Studies into the efficacy of CBG oil are fewer than for CBD oil but they do suggest that CBG offers several benefits of its own:

  • Skin care – CBG has three major benefits to the skin – it is highly anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant. Once CBG enters the epidermis (skin), it penetrates to the basal and subcutaneous layers where it helps calm inflammation, reduces blemishes, purifies pores, balances sebum (oil) production and assists with cellular turnover

  • Inflammatory bowel disease – CBG seems to reduce the inflammation associated with this illness

  • Glaucoma – CBG appears to reduce intraocular pressure and so could be effective in treating glaucoma

  • Huntingdon’s disease – CBG might have neuroprotective properties that could help treat Huntingdon’s disease

  • Bladder dysfunctions – CBG appears to affect the contractions of the bladder and so shows promise at treating bladder dysfunctions

  • Bacterial infections – a study in 2008 suggested that CBG can kill bacteria, particular the commonly known, MRSA, which causes drug resistant staphylococcus infections which are hard to treat and can be dangerous

  • Cancer – there is some evidence that CBG might reduce the growth of cancer cells and other tumours

  • Appetite loss – it is thought that CBG could stimulate the appetite which could be useful in conditions such as cancer or HIV where appetite loss is common

How to use our CBG/CBD Extract

Full Spectrum Organic CBG / CBD oil does not require any preparations for use. However, you are advised to start from a lower strength CBG / CBD oil and gradually increase to high strength CBG / CBD oil if necessary.

Shake well before use. Place 1-2 drops under the tongue or onto the surface of food, twice daily. Keep the oil in the mouth for 1 minute for better absorption and drink water afterwards to help with the taste.

Do not exceed 70mg per day. Not for use by under 18s and not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Our Full Spectrum Organic CBG / CBD oil comes in different measurements and strengths:
